International Studies (IS) Majors,
Further to the previous notice on May 18 (please refer to the notice below), I would like to make an additional notice regarding ISM2105 International Economics course.
For those of you who cannot take the International Economics course offered at Yonsei International Summer School for unavoidable reasons and plan on graduating in February 2013 or in August 2013, there is the option of taking International Economics offered by Graduate School of International Studies by Professor Hahm Joon-Ho in the 2012 fall semester.
This is a GSIS course, and students who must take this course in the 2012 fall semester should consult Professor Yul Sohn (yulsohn@yonsei.ac.kr ) in advance and receive his permission.
Again, this option is available only for those who plan on graduating either in February 2013 or in August 2013 and cannot take the YISS course this summer.
Sincerely,
-Underwood International College-

International Studies (IS) Majors,
UIC has two announcements that are pertinent to your major and graduation requirements:
1. ISM2105 International Economics
Professor JY Lee will be going on sabbatical in the fall. Since he teaches the required International Economics(ISM2105) course, you need to take this as a summer class(Yonsei International Summer School) if you plan on graduating in the next year and haven't taken it yet.
This class will not be offered again until the professor returns in Fall 2013.
2. ISM1001 Introduction to International Studies
Introduction to International Studies(ISM1001) is a required course for all IS majors. Since it is an intro level class, it will be moving to Songdo.
However, we are offering it one last time at the Sinchon campus this upcoming fall semester. If you haven't taken it, please take it in the fall.
For your information, Introduction to International Studies' course category is UIC Elective(UICE) and it does NOT count towards IS major credits.
If you have any further questions regarding these matters, please contact Professor Yul Sohn at yulsohn@yonsei.ac.kr
