2012 1st Semester Graduation Album Photograph Schedule

1.     Photograph

A.     Who: Students who are scheduled to graduate in February or August of 2013 (including students on leave of absence and those who did not take their photographs and are scheduled to graduate in August 2012)

B.      Process: Students may take their photographs freely during the time given without any prior registration. They will each take five photographs (Indoor individual, indoor image, outdoor individual, outdoor small group, outdoor group)

C.      Where: Student Union 4th floor (Indoor individual, indoor image) → Underwood Hall (outdoor individual, outdoor small group, outdoor group)

D.     When: Thursday, May 3rd 9:00am – 11:00am indoors, 10:00am – 12:00am outdoors

2.     Things to note

A.     For those students who are scheduled to graduate in February or August of 2013 but are going to have a leave of absence for a long period (5 semesters or more), they will have to retake the photographs in accordance with their graduation time

B.      Students who are scheduled to graduate in August 2012 and take their photographs this time will be able to receive their graduation albums during February 2013

C.      Students who are scheduled to graduate in August 2013 and take their photographs this time will be able to receive their graduation albums during August 2013

D.     Students who did not get to take their photographs this time or those who did not like their photographs will be able to retake their photographs in October. (Only indoor individual, indoor image, outdoor individual will be available)

3.     Weather related information

A.     If there is a high chance of rain on the day of photography session, whether or not the photography session will continue as scheduled will be notified at 3:00pm a day prior to the photography day via following methods

                             i.     Yonsei homepage free bulletin board (www.yonsei.ac.kr → Ä¿¹Â´ÏƼ→ Á¤º¸³ª´®ÅÍ → ÀÚÀ¯°Ô½ÃÆÇ)

                             ii.     Yonsei homepage notices (°øÁö»çÇ×)

                             iii.     Individual SMS (not applicable for those on a leave of absence)

B.      If a session was notified to be not suitable for photography, it will be rescheduled to an alternate date even if it did not rain the day of the photography session

C.      There could be an emergency status change due to some inclement weather contradicting weather forecasts

D.     In order to have no problems with receiving individual SMS messages, please log on to Yonsei portal and update your mobile number by Wednesday, April 25th

                              i.     www.portal.yonsei.ac.kr → Academic Information System → Academic Management System → Student Record → Modification → Update your mobile information

4.     Graduation album fee

A.     Graduation album fee is included in the other fees section when students pay their tuition for their 7th semester of studies

B.      If a student paid the album fee this semester but did not take photography during this semester, he or she may be able to take the photography during the next semester (no need to get refunds or register)

C.      If a student did not pay the graduation album fee due to a leave of absence or the fact that he or she is a 6th semester student, he or she may take the photographs since the graduation album fee will be included in the future

5.     Refund of the graduation album fee

A.     Anyone who does not want to take the photographs for the graduation album can check for an item in the Yonsei website notices board during the following time period and request a refund

                             i.     Refund request period
1.     scheduled to graduate in August 2012: July 2nd –
      July 31st, 2012

2.     scheduled to graduate in February 2013: January 2nd – January 31st
