Fall 2012 YIC RC Recruitment: Residential Assistant (RA) Program
The YIC Residential College (RC) is looking for caring, enthusiastic, and highly motivated students to participate in the RC Residential Assistant (RA) Program during the Fall 2012 semester. RAs live on-campus with first-year RC students and act as peer counselors, community builders, event programmers, academic mentors, and administrators. RAs spend a significant amount of time getting to know students as individuals and generating enthusiasm to create floor, house, and campus communities. RAs are expected to be strong team players as staff members of the Residential College and work closely with the Faculties-in-Residence (Residential Master, Residential Heads, and Residential Fellows).
■ Eligibility:
- Graduate Students;
- Undergraduate Students (Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors);
- Students with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and above.
■ Tasks & Responsibilities:
- RAs must live on-campus full-time (Monday through Friday);
- RAs must advise, administer, and assist in the holistic development of all RC students;
- RAs must facilitate a sense of community within the residence and foster an appreciation for diversity;
- RAs must help plan and support all Residential College programs, events, and operations;
- RAs must assist all Faculties-in-Residence (Residential Heads and Fellows);
- RAs must assist with RC Orientation and move-in/move-out operations;
- RAs must attend all RA meetings to discuss students in their care;
- RAs must participate in all RA Workshop and MT programs;
■ Remunerations & Benefits
- RAs are provided a stipend of KRW2,500,000 per semester;*
- RAs are provided a double room (with roommate) worth KRW1,200,000 per semester;
- RAs have access to free shuttle buses between the Yonsei University International and Sinchon campuses;
- RAs receive a Certificate for RA Service (TBD).
* Graduate Students are subjected to a minor tax deduction from their remuneration.

국제캠퍼스에서는 YIC Residential College (RC)에기여할수있는리더십과책임감이강한 Residential Assistant (RA)를다음과같이모집하고자하오니많은지원바랍니다.
■지원자격및우대사항:
- 연세대학교학부 2-4학년생또는대학원생으로재학(휴학) 중이며학점이 3.0 이상인자
- 국제캠퍼스기숙사에상주(수업시간을제외하고월-금요일까지국제캠퍼스에거주)할수있는자
- 외국어 (영어, 중국어등) 능통자및행정업무경험자우대
■담당업무및역할:
- 국제캠퍼스기숙사에거주하며 RC 학생들의멘토로서공동체생활지도및지원
- Residential Head (RH) 및 English Residential Fellow (ERF) 교수의도우미및조교역할
- RC 학생상담및 RC 프로그램개발, 기획, 운영및지원
- RC 새내기도움닫기행사및기숙사입/퇴사지원
- RA 정기(임시)회의참석및담당학생상황보고
- RA Workshop 및 MT 참여
- RA 자치기구운영
■장학금및인센티브:
- 근로장학금: 학기당 250만원지급 (대학원생은노임에따른일정한세금을개인이부담해야함)
- 기숙사비 (2인1실): 학기당 120만원지원
- 국제-신촌캠퍼스간셔틀버스운행
- RA 활동증명서발급 (예정)
