Welcome to the International Division of Underwood
International College. Since its founding in 1886,
Yonsei University has welcomed the world and has taken
an active lead in internationalizing education in
Korea. The International Division serves as a home
institution for exchange and study abroad students who
arrive on the Yonsei campus. Visiting students may
take courses offered by the International Division or
at any of the other Yonsei University departments.
The exchange program is only one of the many areas
where Yonsei University has taken the lead in
international education. Underwood International
College offers many programs for international
students, including Yonsei International Summer
School, which is the oldest program of its kind in
Korea, and a four-year undergraduate degree program
that offers majors in International Studies, Political
Science and International Relations, Economics,
Comparative Literature and Culture, Life Sciences, and
Integrated Information Technology.
The presence of exchange students on our campus helps
us to create a diverse multicultural educational
environment that is unique in Korea. You will discover
that you will not only meet Korean students at Yonsei,
but also make friends from around the world.
