Official transcripts* from all high schools attended

One copy of high school diploma* or certificate of graduation* / Certificate of expected graduation (in such case, submit a certificate of high school graduation before entry)

Two recommendation letters from high school teachers (using the form provided)

One copy of the applicant’s and his/her parents’ passports or ID cards
-
One copy of the applicant’s birth certificate or legal documentation that verifies the relationship between the applicant and his/her parents

Residents inKorea must submit one copy of the applicant’s and his/her parents’ Alien Registration Cards
-
Korean descents must submit legal documentation that verifies the renunciation of the applicants’ and his/her parents’ Korean citizenships, such as the Certificate of Family Relationship and Renunciation of Korean Citizenship (국적상실확인서 issued from Korean Consul or 국적이탈신고서 issued from Ministry of Justice)

One copy of payment receipt for the application fee
* Documents that require legalization before entry. (Refer to “Apostille Requirement”.)
Supplementary Documents

Documents certifying the scores of high school graduation exam or higher education entrance exam listed under the Test Information (e.g. SAT, ACT, GCE-A LEVEL, IB, AP, Gao Kao)

Honors, awards, qualifications and documents that certify extra-curricular activities from high school should be filed with the List of Supplementary Documents. Provide copies with a seal affixed from the issuing institution
Apostille Requirement
For legalization of high school transcript(s) and certificate of high school graduation,
students who have attended or graduated from school(s) in a country:
-
that is a party to the Hague Convention (Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalization for Foreign Public Documents) must obtain Apostille;and
-
that is NOT a party to the Hague Convention must obtain Foreign Education Validation Confirmation or Korean Consulate Confirmation.
Miscellaneous

Applicants must provide a full name that is verifiable through legal documents, such as passport, social security card, and birth certificate.

Unless stated otherwise, all documents must be originals. If an original document cannot be submitted, a copy of it should be submitted with a seal affixed by the issuing institution.

All documents must be in English. Documents in other language should be accompanied by a notarized English translation.

Documents submitted for the admission will NOT be returned.

Cancellation or changes after submission of application will NOT be accepted.
