The UIC Alumni Association was founded in the summer of 2010 by the first class of UIC to "contribute to the development of Yonsei University and Underwood International College, in addition to the greater society at large, through the formation and strengthening of bonds and friendships between alumni of UIC." Steered by members of the Alumni Committee, the association was created in order to act as a bridge between the current UIC student body, UIC faculty, and the overall Yonsei alumni. In order to fulfill this quintessential role, the association holds regular gatherings, runs mentorship programs, sends out newsletters, and keeps a constant line of contact among all stakeholders. These activities benefit all members of the association, as our alumni are prospering in diverse fields both in Korea and abroad. Our alumni are working in top firms such as Samsung, LG, Posco, McKinsey & Company, and Goldman Sachs. Other alumni have enrolled in prominent medical schools, law schools, and prestigious graduate schools, while the remaining are pursuing interests in non-profit or government organizations. The UIC Alumni Association is the anchor that pulls and molds this diverse pool into a solid presence at home and abroad.
