There is a pharmacy on nearly every block in Seoul. Students will notice a sign that says, 약 ("yak" meaning medicine). You can consult with a pharmacist for diagnosis and treatment of your condition. For common colds and minor complaints, seeing the pharmacist is usually sufficient, but for any persistent or serious problems visiting a doctor is recommended. The drug brand names are usually the same as those found in other countries, though some will differ slightly.
