Profile

Dr. Dennis Lee originally went to Washington University, St. Louis with the dream of becoming a medical doctor and even majored in Biochemistry and did research at Barnes/Children's Hospital. However, after starting his first business making websites in his dorm room, he became more interested in technology, international business, and the economic rise of East Asia. After receiving his PhD at UCLA, Dr. Lee spent a year at Harvard University as a postdoctoral fellow. Before coming to UIC, Dr. Lee was working on developing practical applications for artificial intelligence/machine learning. He is currently interested in researching real-life deployments of the Fourth Industrial Revolution/Industry 4.0. Dr. Lee is honored to be a part of Underwood International College and is eager to contribute to the UIC community.
