(1) If you are an International Student :
(a) applying for Underwood International College in the 1st Round, you will be matriculating in the Spring Semester (March).
(b) applying for Underwood International College in the 2nd Round, you will be matriculating in the Fall Semester (September).
(2) If you are a Korean Student (including Overseas Korean) applying for Underwood International College, you will be matriculating in the Spring Semester (March).
First, you must have finished/will finish high school and hold/will hold a high school diploma before entering Underwood International College (UIC). If you were a high school student when the application was made, you must submit high school diploma to the UIC Office before matriculation at UIC.
Second, you and your parents must be all non-Koreans by passport. You will NOT be considered as an International Student, in case you or either one of your parents has a dual citizenship of Korea and another country.
You may apply to more than one college in Korea. However, if you are admitted to Underwood International College and have registered, you will not be able to register to other universities in Korea or other colleges of Yonsei University. Thereby, even if you are admitted to several universities, you can only register to one university in Korea.
(1) If you are an International Student :
Since there is no single formula for admission decision, there are no exact cutoff. Offer of admission is made to students who have earned high score in two evaluation processes. First stage is document review, where evaluation is made based on the academic performance (high school record, grades, rank in class, personal statements, and extracurricular activities) and standardized tests (SAT, ACT, GCE-A Level, IB, AP etc). Students selected in the first stage will be guided to the Second stage which is an interview.

(1) If you are an International Student :
Submitting official test scores from high school graduation exam or university entrance exam (SAT, ACT, GCE-A Level, IB, AP, etc.) is not mandatory. However, it is strongly recommended as the test score(s) can verify your academic performance.

(1) If you are an International Student : all documents submitted for admission should be official original version written in English.
Documents in other languages must be accompanied by a notarized English translation. If original documents cannot be submitted, a copy of the original document should be submitted with a seal affixed by the issuing institution. If you have attended more than one school, you should send official records from each school.

The apostille (a special kind of letter and stamp) is the shortest process of legalization. An apostille can be used if both countries (the country issuing the document and the country in which the document will be used) are members of the international 'The Hague Apostille Convention.' Republic of Korea is a member of the Hague Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalization for Foreign Public Documents.
