ISE Division Chairs and Director would like to inform you regarding Senior Thesis & Research Participation classes.

[Senior Thesis]   - Three classes, NSE4001-01-00 NSE SENIOR THESIS / ESE4001-01-00 EESE SENIOR THESIS / UBC4001-01-00 BC SENIOR THESIS will be opened every 'Spring Semester' as MR subject for 2017~2018 (as ME for 2014~2016). As they will NOT be able to be seen in Fall semester, please add them in this upcoming Spring semester if you want to enroll in.   - Evaluation: 33% Research Advisor, 33% Poster, and 33% Report (Major Chair will grade the Poster and Report).  - Poster Exhibition: May 28th (Mon) ~ June 1st (Fri), 2018, Veritas Hall B Lobby (including one day for Presentation). * The time of Poster Presentation by author will be for 2hrs (6 - 8pm) on May 30 (Wed). All the poster presenters should be in front of each poster during the 2hr and answer to questions from visitors. If some of presenters are not available during the time (due to attendance of other classes), please make a note on the poster about when you will be available.

[Research Participation] (ISE Creative Research)   - As for UBC4003-01-00 RESEARCH PARTICIPATION, the class will be renamed as [ISE CREATIVE RESEARCH] from 2018 Fall semester, opened every 'Fall semester' as ME subject for all NSE/EESE/BC Students. This is because, as 'Research Participation' was quite successful from the temporary start with BC major in 2017 Fall, the Professors have decided to regularly open it to all three majors in ISED in order to expand its merits and effectiveness.
