GLOBAL CAREER TOUR 2019:

 UIC is proud to present the 16^th UIC Global Career Tour: an exciting, invaluable opportunity for UIC students to boost their job-hunting skills, network with professionals in a diverse range of fields, and learn the ins and outs of corporate recruiting. Students interested in global business careers, especially those who are interested in careers in the technology and design sectors, are strongly encouraged to apply.  

This year, the 16^th UIC Global Career Tour will take place in Tokyo, Japan from June 24^th to 29^h, 2019. The tentative schedule includes visits to Fujita Construction, TOTO, Hitachi Global, AEON, MOS Burger, Railway Technology Research Institute, TikTok, The University of Tokyo, and others. These are among the leading companies and research institutes in Japan, focused on advanced and innovative technologies that enhance the quality of human life. Students will get a chance to learn about the products, services, and corporate philosophy of each company and listen to lectures given by industry experts. Students can also ask questions regarding internship opportunities, hiring procedures and career guidance, and more. Many of the companies will introduce students to successful professionals who will share their valuable career advice. 

A Considerable amount of the program cost will be subsidized by UIC. Please take advantage of this invaluable opportunity.

• TOTO: the world's largest toilet manufacturer with 100 years of history
• MOS Burger: a fast-food restaurant chain originated in Japan
• Fujita Construction: a subsidiary of Daiwa House, the Japan's largest homebuilder
• Hitachi Global: a subsidiary of Hitachi Group, a Japanese multinational conglomerate ranked 38th in the 2012 Fortune Global 500
• Railway Technology Research Institute: a research center for future transportation system including the magnetic levitation train

• Cost: 500,000 Won
