It is our pleasure to announce that the 7^th UIC Science Fair, including a poster session, will take place on Thursday, December 1^st, 2022, from 5:00 pm to ~8:00 pm. Dinner refreshments (pizza and pastries) will be served to all students, attendees or participants.

A panel of judges will select recipients of the “Best Oral Presentation” awards as well as “Best Poster Presentation” awards. All awards come with a certificate, a trophy, and monetary prize (￦100,000). All participating students will receive an official “Certificate of Participation”.

The 7^th UIC Science Fair will host ten oral presentations as well as a poster session with eight presentations. Oral presentations are scheduled for 12 minutes (8 min talk + 4 min Q&A). The poster session will be held during the break (45 min).

History and mission of the UIC Science Fair: The UIC Science Fair is an annual undergraduate research conference at the Underwood International College (UIC) organized by the Integrated Science and Engineering Division (ISED). It was established in the Fall of 2016 by Prof. Sehun Chun. The UIC Science Fair exemplifies UIC's commitment to fostering a dynamic culture of research: a culture that encourages inquiry, exploration, and deeper immersion in one's field of study. The UIC Science Fair provides an excellent platform for students to share their passion for science with their friends and classmates.
