UIC World Vision Bridge Program Internship

UIC World Vision Bridge Program Internship

 

UIC World Vision Bridge program is designed to help students have practical work experience while attaining credits at the same time. Selected students will have an opportunity to do full-time internship at World Vision while simultaneously meeting the semester quota requirement with credits. Internship will start in August. Students who wish to participate must enroll in the 2016 fall semester. If you would like to apply, please send your English and Korean resume (one of each) to uic_students@yonsei.ac.kr by August 5. The selected candidates will be individually notified.

 

Key Responsibilities

?   Translate documents from English to Korean and vice versa

?   Organize and analyze data and perform extensive research

?   Provide support in reviewing annual program management report

?   Communicate with various parties within the organization

?   Perform administrative and office support activities for multiple supervisors

 

Required Skills

?   Fluent in Korean and English

?   Highly proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel

?   Highly organized with attention to detail

?   Excellent time management and analytical skills

?   Strong interpersonal and communication skills

?   Very strong team player with ability to work on own initiative

 

Things to know

?   You are expected to work as an intern 5 days a week

?   You can earn up to 15 credits depending on the number of days you work on location

?   It is an unpaid internship. However the expense for transportation and lunch will be covered

?   You will have an opportunity to participate in a selected webex, various internal sessions pertaining to World Vision’s international development issues

?   You can join a business trip to World Vision’s international operations at your own expense (Lodging and meal will be covered while you are on a business trip)
