UIC Seoul IDRC Bridge Program Internship

 

UIC Seoul IDRC Bridge program is designed to allow students to have practical work experience while attaining course credits at the same time. Selected students will have an opportunity to do full-time internship at Seoul IDRC for the spring semester. Part-time internship is also possible with prior permission. If you are interested in exploring international arbitration and alternative dispute resolutions and exercising various marketing & promotional duties, this internship will be an ideal opportunity. Students who wish to participate must enroll in the 2018 spring semester. Please send your English and Korean resume (one of each) to jimkim@yonsei.ac.kr by February 23 if you would like to apply. In case you are interested in the part-time internship, please specify your available days in the e-mail. Selected candidates will be individually notified. Internship starts in March.

 

Responsibilities (Marketing & PR position)

  • Manage various promotion channels and promotion schedule for the Center’s projects
  • Assist in managing communications and correspondence with the Center’s affiliated institutions, and liaise with event partners and organizations
  • Manage visits to the Center by local and international visitors
  • Provide assistance in organizing arbitration hearings, seminars, lectures, and other related events
  • Research latest trends in international arbitration and identify potential markets
  • Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events

 

Requirements

  • Strong academic record
  • Proficiency in both English and Korean
  • Strong organizational, teamwork, interpersonal, and computer skills
  • Confident and mature demeanor
  • Applicants with previous work experiences and who are able to work full-time will be highly preferred

 

NB

  • You are expected to work full-time for 5 days a week (negotiable with prior consultation)
  • Please note that the office will be relocated to the Trade Tower (Gangnam-gu, Seoul) in April 2018.
  • This is an unpaid internship. However, per diem will be provided by the Center.
