Ms. Ra, who served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Korea as a Protocol Officer, and who is now acting as a freelance project manager, motivational speaker, and professional lecturer specifically for government officials-to-be, will gladly guide you through the process of applying to become a diplomat. For students interested in this career choice, Ms. Ra will give you valuable advice on successfully navigating the necessary steps as well as educate you on what to expect once you are in the field.
Ms. Ra graduated with honors with a B.A. in Journalism, worked at the American Chamber of Commerce in Korea, then performed as a protocol officer in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Korea. She managed official events including overseas visits for the President and Prime Minister, state banquets held in the Blue House, and high level meetings between government officials and visiting foreign leaders. Ms. Ra’s career has allowed her to live and work in various countries; US, Canada, Romania, Vietnam, and most recently in Panama. She currently teaches and trains applicants who are working toward obtaining official government positions. Ms. Ra is an expert in the essay writing and interview processes.
