2018-2 Student Health Mutual-aid Association Additional(temporary) Registration


1. Who
a. Each university, graduate school, and specialized graduate school student who did not selectively pay the health deduction fee when paying tuition (including freshmen, transfer students, and excessed semester students)

b. Some non-selectable specialized graduate school students and students from specialized schools.

c. Unregistered undergraduate and graduate students (those on leave) of each college

d. Students on leave who have had their tuition fully refunded (excluding Sinchon Medical School, Dentistry, Nursing University, Wonju Medical College)

e. Exchange, visiting, GIP, SAP (only outgoing) students of each college and graduate school


2. Registration Period: September 3rd ~ 28th, 2018 (No registration possible after the period is over)
※ If you sign up within the period, you can get medical expenses deducted from September 1st, 2018.

3. Deduction fee: 22,500 won (cash only, no credit card payment, no payment by proxy, no refund)

4. On-site registration: With student ID (or student number) and deduction fee → Visit the health service office (no campus separation)
※ Sinchon/ International: Sinchon Campus Student Center 206 / Wonju: Magazine Campus Student Center 212-1

5. Account payment: Deposit of the deduction fee into the campus health deduction account → E-mail student ID → Confirmation phone call

※ The name of the depositor shall be entered by the student number. (For the sake of the same name, the front number ‘20’ can be excluded)

※ Alternative documents for student ID: Certificate of registration or a certificate of leave of absence, registration payment confirmation


※ If student ID is not sent, registration cannot be processed due to the user's non-verification error. (phone call is required)

6. Operating hours: 09:00 to 17:00 (Monday to Friday) / Lunch time: 12:00 to 13:00

※ The student health mutual-aid association fee were also refunded for students on leave who have had their tuition fully refunded. Thus, they must register additionally in order to have their medical fees incurred during their respective semesters deducted.

 ※ Sinchon medical, dentistry, nursing and Wonju medical students who have selectively paid their student health mutual-aid association fees but have had their tuition partially or fully refunded are not eligible for the refund of their student health mutual-aid association fees. Thus, they do not need to register additionally and receive their deductions.

 

 

Information on Yonsei University Student Health Mutual-aid Association (summary)

1. Student Health Mutual-aid Association
The medical institution pays the health deduction fee (22,500 won per semester) and provides the medical service fee of each university, graduate school, graduate school, or graduate school. (Unable to sign up for graduate students, students with expulsion, students with completion, and students with graduate research semester)

2. Deduction procedure

 After visiting a hospital or a pharmacy →  Receive the invoice·receipt of the incurred medical fee and medicine fee →  Bring your Student ID →  Confirm your own Woori Bank account number →  Register at the student health mutual-aid association office →  Will be transferred the coming Friday of registration.

※ Wonju College of Medicine, which receives by registered mail or registered mail, can use the inbox in front of the student council office. International campus students may be uncomfortable, but please visit or register mail.

※ In the case of pregnant women, please submit a 'Credit Card Sales Slip' together to check the use of GoEun Mom card.

3. Receipt due and academic equipment
Registration possible only until the next semester of the hospital visit. It is best that you register immediately upon visit. Please make sure to not miss the deadline.

1st semester: From March 1 to August 31 / 2nd semester: From Sep. 1 to Feb. 28(9) of the following year

※ Medical expenses incurred during the vacation are also subjected for deduction. For visits that took place at the beginning of the semester, please register approximately 20 days after commencement.


4. International students who are not under National Health Insurance

Use designated hospitals (Shinchon: Seran Hospital, Dongshin Hospital, Shinchon Yonsei Hospital, Kim Sung Jun otolaryngologist/International: Nazareth International Hospital/Wonju: Wonju Severance Christian Hospital) (Other hospitals are not subject for deduction) and show your Student ID to the administration office, request 100% insurance fee, pay incurring fees, receive the ‘invoice·recepit’ and bring your Student ID and account number.

※ International students who wish to register the National Health Insurance may visit the local branch with their passports/certificate of alien registration.

※Non-reimbursement and full-copayment   are not deduced for Ultrasounds, health medical   examination, vaccination, orthodontic treatment, plastic surgery, traffic   accidents and other treatments that are not covered by the National Health   Insurance are not deducted.

※ Fees   incurring at community health centers - Full deduction for total fee   below 12,000 won & Exceeding 12,000won:   50% after being covered by National Health Insurance.  

※ Full deduction of the reimbursement copayment is accepted for   special cases of calculation, type two medical benefits, and the lower income   group health insurance reporters. 
  However, medical items that are subject to a   self-payment rate (such as meals, selective benefits, etc.) are deducted   according to the general patient outpatient and inpatient deduction rate.

※ International   students that are not covered by the National Health Insurance are subject to   pay full fees even if it is processed with insurance coverage. They must pay   for everything except for the deduction.

※ Deduction will not   exceed the individual payment amount 

※ Register with a receipt on the same day after   the appointment date examination and accept the reservation fee.

※ Deduction limit per   semester: 1,000,000 won (ambulatory care + hospitalization) 

※ 1,000,000won   will be given in the case of death.

(Required documents: Copy of student ID,   certificate of death, certificate of family relations and account number of   one family member)

※ Students can   receive duplicated benefits as this does not relate to private insurance that   students may hold.
