- Eligible Persons: middle school, high school and undergraduate students who are interested in the United Nations, its work and international issues
- Submission Deadline: June 9, 2019
- Announcement of the Winners: the result will be announced via IOM Republic of Korea’s Facebook page (@iom.seoul) in mid-June 2019.

Select one of the following topics:
- What is the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration (GCM)?
- What kinds of changes will the GCM bring to our society?
- What is our role in the implementation of the GCM?
▣ Prize:
Winners will each receive a certificate from IOM Republic of Korea, and offered a chance to present their videos and image on the social media pages of IOM Republic of Korea and IOM Asia-Pacific Regional Office. In addition, the grand prize winner will be given an internship opportunity at IOM Republic of Korea.
▣ Requirements:
Choose one of the two following formats (video or image) for submission:
[Video] (Korean or English)
- For video submission, applicants can apply as a team.
- All forms of video including motion graphics and animation are accepted.
- Length: less than 3 minutes
- Resolution: equal to or larger than 1280 * 720 pixel
- File format: all video formats commonly used on Windows including AVI, WMV and MP4
- File name: “creator_title of the video”
[Image] (Korean or English)
- For image submission, applicants can only apply as individuals.
- Accepted forms of images: web toon, card news, infographics, poster, photo, etc.
- Size: two different versions for Facebook and Instagram
- Resolution: over 300 dpi
- File format: GIF, JPG, JPEG, PNG, etc.
▣ Submission:
- A copy of your video or image should be sent to iomseoul@iom.or.kr by June 9, 2019.
- The title of the e-mail should be in the following format:
“[My Future with the GCM_Name of the Applicant/Team]”
▣ Notes
- The number of winners may be adjusted during the selection process.
- Any submitted file that is judged to have deviated from the list of aforementioned topics, does not meet the aforementioned requirements, or is suspected of plagiarism will be disqualified.
- For the winner(s), request for the original, editable file may be made.
- The copyright for the submitted video/image file rests with the applicant, but the intellectual property right for the winning video/audio file will rest with the organizer for three years starting 9 June 2019. Furthermore, the winning video/audio file may be edited and will be used as part of IOM’s public campaign for promotional purposes.
