About the UIC Global Research Competition
Underwood International College is excited to present the 5th UIC Global Research Competition. Three teams of UIC students were selected last year and gained priceless learning experience around the world. It is an opportunity to challenge yourself and grow intellectually. Any UIC students who are interested in performing a self-directed research project anywhere around the world are encouraged to submit their proposals.
Students can choose any subjects, ranging from scientific to imaginative, that can enhance and deepen their knowledge in the classroom.
With help from world-renowned and accomplished Yonsei faculty, selected students will learn each phase of the standard research process: developing research plans, writing proposals, conducting research, analyzing data, and presenting research results in oral and written forms.
A monetary award up to 3,500,000Won will be granted to each selected student. Upon completion of the research, the students will get 1 summer session credit. Various opportunities to showcase research experience will be given as well.
