Support for Paper Presentations in International Conferences

1.      Eligibility 

UIC student attending international conferences to give research paper presentations

2.      Financial Aid

Student will receive financial support to cover round-trip, economy class airfare. Payment will be reimbursed after submission of conference report

3.      How to Apply

Applicants must submit the following documents to UIC Office one month before the date of conference:

·         Accomplished application form

·         Proof of participation (copy of the conference program or letter of invitation/acceptance of submission)

4.      Conference Report

Students whose applications have been approved must submit the following documents to the UIC Office within 15 days upon return:

·         One-page post-conference report detailing the student’s experience

·         Copy of paper presented

·         Photocopies of first page of passport (personal information page) and relevant immigration stamps

·         Original copy of receipt issued upon purchase of airline ticket
