Design Factory Korea 2016 Study Tour to Melbourne Australia

Design Factory Korea 2016 Study Tour will go down under taking full advantage of Design Factory Global Network (DFGN).  One-week study tour will take us to Melbourne to Swinburne University of Technology and Swinburne Design Factory.

During the one week project, students will be working in team(s) and facilitated by coaches at Swinburne University. During the project, students will experience the Design Factory culture and methodology. The project will be done together with local partner company who will provide a real-life challenge for students to solve. The industry project will involve user research, market exploration and initial concept development, and students are required to hand in a project report of the project process and outcomes.

We will explore
- New culture, place and ways of working
- Cross-disciplinary as well as multicultural team-based interaction
- Hands-on project work with an industry partner

When?
The project is between January 13-24, and will last 7 days.
Specific dates will be confirmed soon. Make sure to keep this time period available.

Price?
- UIC will cover the Program fee and a significant part of the air fare
  Price for the flight tickets will depend on the number of the participants
- Accommodation, local transportation and food will be covered by participant

How to Apply?
1. Write max half-a-page text of why you want to go
2. Take an imaginary picture of you working at SDF
3. Send your information:
(Name, Date of birth, Gender, Student ID, Major, Phone number, Kakaotalk ID, e- mail), motivation text, picture of you at SDF, and copy of your passport to meri@yonsei.ac.kr

Application deadline is Monday, December 21st 2015
NOTE! Because the program takes place during the winter season, if there are not enough applicants, the trip will be cancelled.
