International Counseling and Coaching Service (YICCS)

YICCS was found to support study abroad students, multicultural families, and other foreigners in Korea. Our counselors provide crisis intervention, psychological assessment, and counseling services. More details about counseling services are provided below.

Services Provided:

Crisis intervention: If you or someone you know is facing a crisis or is in emergency situation, such as suicidal attempt, we strongly encourage you to contact someone. We are here to be with you.

Individual counseling: People come to the coaching and counseling center for variety of reasons. Feeling homesick, adjusting to new culture, having difficulty going to work due to depression or anxiety, feeling upset over the break-up of a romantic relationship, eating and body image issues, self-esteem concerns, and many other issues.

Couples and family counseling: Counseling is available for couples and families to come in together.

Alcohol, drug, or other addiction counseling: You can find help with addiction issues.

Languages:

YICCS has counselors from various cultural backgrounds; and counselors with proficiency in multiple languages including English, Chinese, Burmese, Hindi, and more.

Eligibility and Cost:

Our counseling service is opened for everyone. And we provide free coaching and counseling for students or low income families up to 5 sessions; and it can be extended up to 10 sessions upon a request.
