Teaching Assistant position with Prof. Tony Qian Fall, 2024

qualifications

 The applicant must be a Yonsei student (graduate or undergraduate). S/he should have some work experience, including experience conducting research in Korean, Chinese, and/or English. S/he must be able to write fluently in English. Ability to read Korean and Chinese is preferred. Experience in poster/web design and video editing is a plus.

 time period

 The TA-ship starts on August 1, and ends January 31. (Officially, TAs begin their work on September 1 and continue to February 28.)

scope of work

 The TA will be asked to provide assistance in locating, reading, summarizing, and/or scanning documents at libraries, and preparing electronic course readers and LearnUs. Other course-related and research-related work will be assigned as needed.

 Short-listed applicants will be asked to participate in a 15-minute Zoom interview sometime at the end of July.

Please note: A student can only be hired for one TA position per semester (i.e., they cannot work as a faculty TA and a class TA).
