2017-2 Leave and Returning Application for Undergraduate Students

 

Greetings from Academic Affairs,

 

Attached are for students wishing to apply for a leave or return. Please apply within the period.
The summarized announcement can also be accessed at Academic Information System -> Registration -> Leave/Return -> Announcements

 

As of 2016-1, the application process for

 there has been a change in the application process as below for military entrance leave, returning after military service,
applying for general leave after military leave.

-Before: Fax or in person

-Now: Yonsei Portal -> Registration -> Leave/Return [Document Submission] (No bigger than 2MB)

 

Important Dates for 2017-2 Leave/Return

 

[Return Confirmation Period and Course Registration]

1st Return: 8/1 (Tues) 10:00 ~ 8/6 (Sun) 23:59 (Military leave students must be approved by Academic Affairs by 8/4 (Fri) 17:00)

             Course Registration: 8/7 (Mon) ~ 8/11 (Fri) / Tuition Payment 8/24 (Thurs) ~ 8/30 (Wed)

2nd Return: 8/7 (Mon) 00:00 ~ 8/23 (Wed) 23:59 (Military leave students must be approved by Academic Affairs by 8/4 (Fri) 17:01~8/23 (Wed) 17:00

             Course Registration: 8/24 (Thurs) / Tuition Payment: 8/24 (Thurs) ~ 8/30 (Wed)

3rd Return: 8/24 (Thurs) 00:00 ~ 8/27 (Sun) 23:59 (Military leave students must be approved by Academic Affairs by 8/23 (Wed) 17:01~8/25 (Fri) 17:00

             Course Registration: 8/31 (Thurs) / Tuition Payment: 9/11 (Mon) ~ 9/13 (Wed)

  • Course Registration Period for returning Students (including 1st year students) is available on Yonsei Portal Service – Undergraduate Course Registration Announcement
  • Returning date will be based on the approval. It is recommended that students return during the 1st Return period and apply for courses and change them if necessary

 

[General Leave] 

  • 8/1 (Tues) 10:00 ~ 9/14 (Thurs) 17:00: Able to apply for leave regardless of tuition payment. Tuition will be refunded fully for those who have paid.
  • 9/15 (Fri) 10:00 ~ 11/15 (Wed) 17:00: Able to apply for leave after course registration and tuition payment. Tuition will be refunded based on the date of approval

[Military Leave]

  • 8/1 (Tues) 10:00 ~ 11/15 (Wed) 17:00: Able to apply from the date of receiving the letter of draft and the day before entering.
  • 11/16 (Thurs) 10:00 ~ 2018/01/31 (Wed) 17:00: Able to apply from the week before until the day before entering the military.
