Introducing Cloud Email
1. To improve the quality of IT services, Academy Information Center of Shinchon Campus will introduce cloud email services based on Google Apps and MS Office 365.
2. Once cloud email is implemented, there may be some confusion as the existing email address (@yonsei.ac.kr) will be used while using Google Gmail. However, Google Gmail is superior to traditional Yonsei email in terms of management, capacity, and reliability while delivering operational savings. Therefore, even though users may experience some inconveniences at the beginning of the introduction, we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
3. Detailed schedule of cloud email rollout is as follows:
A. Stop new email registration: Monday October 1, 2018
B. Call center and information homepage operation: Monday October 1, 2018.

C. Commence cloud email system: Monday October 15, 2018
- Due to system maintenance, email login will not be available between
October 13 to 14, 2018 (but emails will be received normally)
