Social Impact Initiative for Global Creative Talent
Social Impact Initiative for Global Creative Talent seeks to solve global and local issues through social innovation. The initiative aims to foster a new generation of social innovators through the offering of the Social Innovation Certificate Program and providing of support for extra-curricular activities such as internships, research programs, field trips, scholarships, and much more. Through these means SIIGCT provides the infrastructure for undergraduates of Underwood International College to acquire necessary skills to actualize each of their own envisioned social innovation.

Social Impact Initiative for Global Creative Talent seeks to solve global and local issues through social innovation. Through these means SIIGCT provides the infrastructure for undergraduates of Underwood International College to acquire necessary skills to actualize each of their own envisioned social innovation.
Funded by University for Creative Korea, the Social Impact Initiative for Global Creative Talent aims to foster social innovators by providing diverse curricular and extra-curricular programs within Underwood International College, Yonsei University's Techno-Art Division and Integrated Social Sciences Division. These two divisions were selected by the government in 2016 to be recipients of social innovation grants. Due to the Yonsei Center for Social Innovation's usage of government funds, programs and initiatives are restricted to the two above-mentioned divisions. However, students who double-major in any major within these two divisions would be allowed to participate in our initiatives and programs!

The Organizing Committee includes Professor Michael Kim, Professor Sam Youl Lee (Director of Integrated Social Sciences Division, Chair of Science, Technology, and Policy), Professor Young Soo Cho (Associate Dean of Planning, Director of Design Factory Korea), Professor Soojin Jun (Director of Techno-Art Division), and Professor Sangwon Lee (Associate Professor of Culture and Design Management).
