The Yonsei Center for Social Innovation offers the Social Innovator Certificate Program to all UIC students. An official Social Innovator Certificate awaits the student upon graduation after the student completes the 19 credits required for the certificate program. Selected students from, TAD and ISSD will receive a scholarship upon completing the Social Innovator Certificate.
The required credits for the Social Innovator Certificate Program involve:
- Research Design and Quantitative Methods (3 credits)
- Social Innovation Capstone Project 1 or 2 (3 credits)
- Social Innovation Seminar (3 credits)
- Holistic Education (1 credit)
- ME courses from TAD/ISSD (9 credits)
In Winter Session 2018, students who have signed up for the Social Innovator Certificate Program are encouraged to enroll in these three-credit courses, which are tied to the Social Innovator Certificate Program. This will be the final opportunity for students to fulfill the necessary requirements for the Social Innovator Certificate. Students who have not participated in non-academic Social Innovation programs are recommended to sign-up for the following courses for the 2018 Winter Session.
