Profile

Sun Goo Lee’s research interests are in science and technology policy, with a special focus on public health issues. After obtaining her LLB, MPH, and JSM, she worked on HIV policy and tobacco regulation policy at the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland. At Georgetown University Law Center, she wrote her SJD dissertation on the effect of criminalization of HIV infection on HIV testing behavior. She also has experience as a judicial researcher at the Supreme Court of Korea conducting comparative research of common law and Korean law. As an assistant professor at Gachon University, she conducted research on toxic torts, use of health big data, and digital healthcare.
