Profile

Bong-Geun Choi is a professor of Quantitative Risk Management at Yonsei University's Underwood International College. As a financial economist with extensive experience in quantitative methodologies, his key research interests include asset pricing, quantitative study of financial markets, and fintech and/or financial innovation. Before joining Yonsei, Professor Choi was the chief economist and chief innovation officer at Fount, South Korea's largest robo-advisor fintech startup, as well as an external consultant at the OECD. Choi previously worked as a finance professor at the City University of Hong Kong's College of Business.
