[Recruitment] Peer Mentors for the Fall 2025 UIC Global Seminar

The UIC office is looking for enthusiastic student peer mentors to play a vital role in facilitating the 2025-2 UIC Global Seminar. This comprehensive orientation program is designed to equip international students for their initial semester in a new country. It presents a fantastic opportunity to welcome incoming international students and provide invaluable assistance during their transition.  

1. Peer Mentors' Role

- Develop and deliver a presentation on a designated topic for new students

- Facilitate small group discussions

- Collaborate with fellow peer mentors to brainstorm program details

- Respond to inquiries from new students, connecting them with relevant staff or professors

 

2. Detailed information for 2025-2 UIC Global Seminar

- The program is scheduled for August 30st, from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm on the International Campus.

- An on-line mentor orientation is scheduled for 7:30pm on August 7th (Thursday), and your attendance is mandatory.

- Peer mentors will receive an hourly wage based on their commitment to the program. For any inquiries, please feel free to contact uic_students@yonsei.ac.kr.

- Note: only selected applicants will be notified.
