Priority course registration for non-face-to-face classes

for ‘Off-campus’ RC Program applicants

 
In consideration of students who choose to apply for the ‘Off-campus’ RC Program due to concerns about COVID-19 infections among first year RC students, the university will be implementing priority course registration for a limited number of course seats for the 2020 Fall Semester courses that will be conducted 100% non-face-to-face. 

1. Course registration dates:

  A. Priority course registration dates for students who applied for ‘Off-campus’ RC Program: 2020. 8. 18 (Tues) 11:00 ~ 17:00
  B. Course registration for all first year students: 2020. 8. 25 (Tues) 9:00 ~ 17:00 

2. Notice on priority course registration:

  A. Not all non-face-to-face courses will be available during the priority course registration date. The number of seats available per course (based on the percentage of ‘Off-campus’ applicants ±α) will be decided after considering the nature of the subject (whether it is a requisite course, whether the course has been divided into a single section or multiple-sections, proportion for opening an online non-face-to-face class of the specific courses, etc.). In other words, depending on the subject, few seats may be available.
  B. ‘Off-campus’ applicants who have been given the opportunity to take part in the priority course registration may not apply for move-in even if there is a vacancy in the dormitory.
  C. For UIC students, the priority course registration is limited to Common Curriculum (CC) courses.
