The UIC Integrated Science and Engineering Division (ISED) is seeking an ISED undergraduate student to serve as the Undergraduate Laboratory Coordinator (ULC) for the Fall 2024 semester.

Your role: You will ensure the safe and efficient operation of ISED laboratories (Libertas B #404, Veritas D #107, Veritas D #401) by coordinating communication between ISED professors, the ISED office, and outside vendors. This includes placing orders for reagents and supplies, to ensure uninterrupted operations. Additionally, you will communicate with vendors and engineers to maintain laboratory instruments.

• Appointment Period: September 2024 – December 2025 (full-time TA)
• Working Hours: up to 14 hours per week
• Wage: 1,800,000 won (50% will be paid in the middle of the semester and the rest at the end of the semester)

Who you are:

(1) You have previously taken at least one laboratory ME course offered by the ISED division.

(2) You have excellent written and oral communication skills.

(3) You have Korean-English bilingual proficiency.

(4) You reside in Songo city. Note: Graduating seniors cannot apply.
