2024 UIC Global Career Tour, London

1. All about UIC Global Career Tour (UIC GCT)

UIC GCT is an exciting, invaluable opportunity for UIC students to boost their job-hunting skills, network with professionals in a diverse range of fields, and learn the ins and outs of corporate recruiting. Students interested in global business careers are strongly encouraged to participate.

2. 2024 UIC GCT

This year, the UIC Global Career Tour will take place in the capital of England, London from July 1st to July 6th, 2024. The tentative schedule includes visits to HIG Capital, BBC, Patron Capital Partners, McKinsey & Company, Bank of England and others. Students will get a chance to learn about the products, services, and corporate philosophy of each company and listen to lectures given by industry experts. Students can also ask questions regarding internship opportunities, hiring procedures, career guidance, and more. Many of the companies will introduce students to successful professionals who will share their valuable career advice.

A considerable amount of the program cost will be subsidized by UIC. Please take advantage of this invaluable opportunity.

3. Application

A. Eligibility

• UIC undergraduate students only
• Students who are in their 8th or above semester, completion status are not eligible to apply.
• Students who are not disqualified from entering the United Kingdom

B. Number of Participants selected: 10 ~ 12 students

C. Documents to Submit

①    Application form (renamed file with applicant’s name)

②    Resume (one page)

 D. How to Submit

• Scan your documents and send those to uic_services@yonsei.ac.kr
  (Email title should be written as:[2024_GCT] and applicant’s name)
• Application Deadline: April 30^th (Tuesday), 2024
  (Selected applicants for interview will be notified individually)
• Please check passport validity for overseas travel and visa availability

4. Cost: 1,900,000 Won  ( cost that participants pay)

• Flight, accommodation (breakfast included), and alumni dinners will be covered by the cost and subsidy from UIC.
• Participants are responsible for other fees such as personal food and local transportation fees.
