The UIC office is seeking enthusiastic student peer mentors to play a vital role in facilitating the Spring 2024 UIC Global Seminar. This comprehensive orientation program is designed to equip international students for their initial semester in a new country. It presents a fantastic opportunity to extend a warm welcome to incoming international students and provide invaluable assistance during their transition.

1. Peer Mentor’s Role

?   Develop and deliver a presentation on a designated topic for new students

?   Facilitate small group discussions

?   Collaborate with fellow peer mentors to brainstorm program details

?   Respond to inquiries from new students, connecting them with relevant staff or professors

1. Additional information for the Program

?   The program is scheduled for March 2nd, from 10 am to 5 pm on the International Campus.

?   An online mentor orientation is scheduled for 7:30 pm on Wednesday, February 7th, and your attendance is mandatory.
