2016-1 Semester Freshmen Student ID Card Issuance
1. Yonsei Student ID
The Yonsei ID Card, exclusive for Yonsei members, is not only used for identification purposes but is also used as a transportation card, Uni Check Card (debit card), access to library and dormitory, and attendance check / academic support.
2. Issued for: 2016 Undergraduate freshmen (including transferred students), graduate freshmen (including special/ professional graduate schools) – refer to 3,4
- International freshmen - refer to 5
3. Application Process
a) Yonsei Portal Service (sign in using your Student ID number and password: date of birth) à Academic Information System à Issue Student ID à Issue Student ID à fill in an application form (you may change your ID picture) and submit it
(How to find your student ID: Yonsei Portal Service à Undergraduate Course Enrollment (“학부수강신청”) à Find Student ID for Freshmen(/transferred students) (“신/편입생학번찾기”)
b) Print student ID card application form, Woori Bank account application form, Woori Uni Check Card application form and personal information collection and usage agreement form then submit them to the designated location along with 3 copies of your ID (choose one among Korean national ID card, passport, or driver’s license.)
※ Overseas Koreans (Freshmen whose nationality is not Korean) and international freshmen should refer to 5 and submit application online (no additional documents needed)

6. Alternative Method
If you cannot submit the documents directly, submit student ID card application form and other documents (indicated in 3-b) via express mail so that they can arrive at Woori Bank, Yonsei Campus Branch by Monday, February 22.

7. Student ID Pick-up and Location
- Sinchon Campus: (Wed) 2 ~ (Fri) March 4, Woori Bank Yonsei Finance Center (09:00 ~ 20:00)
- YIC: (Wed) 2 ~ (Fri) 4 March, Woori Bank International Campus Branch (09:00 ~ 20:00)
※ Students should bring their ID to pick-up student cards
※ Students who cannot come during the above period may pick-up their student cards at Woori Bank Yonsei Finance Center, or Woori Bank YIC branch between 09:00 ~ 16:00.
8. Notes
Students who have applied after the application period may have their card issuance delayed until the end of March and they may consequently experience inconvenience in access to dormitory or library as well as electronic attendance check for classes.
