Dear UIC Graduates of Spring 2021, 

Even though the offline UIC commencement ceremony has been canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic, UIC’s desire to celebrate and recognize the academic accomplishments of our graduates remains a priority. To do that, UIC is offering a virtual commencement ceremony so everyone can participate without any health risks.

The ceremony will each include video remarks from Dean Taeyoon Sung and other administrators, as well as a commencement slide for each student, which will include their name, degree, major, and photos and messages from the graduating student. Students are encouraged to take part and watch the ceremony. 

The Feb. 2021 UIC Virtual Commencement Ceremony video will be uploaded on the official UIC YouTube channel on the 22nd of February at 2pm.

3. There will be a casual graduation party at BASH on February 26 evening! More information will be sent in a separate email.
