[Recruiting] Faculty TA for Prof. Yoonsuk Paik

 Yonsei University’s Underwood International College is looking for a undergraduate or graduate student to fill a Teaching Assistant (TA) position for Comparative Literature and Culture program major chair professor(Professor Yoonsuk Paik) for Spring 2025. Expected duties include administrative support for professor's research and classes.

 Details

1. Appointment Period: From March 1st to August 31st, 2025

2. Payment: KRW 2,000,000 (NOTE: 50% will be paid in the middle of the semester and the rest at the end of the semester / scholarship amount will be adjusted if the TA is selected after March 1st)

Qualifications and Preferences

1. Prefer graduate students (junior or senior undergraduates may apply)

2. Applicants must be bilingual or a native Korean speaker with fluent English skills and strong reading and writing skills in each language.    

3. Applicants must be discreet and trustworthy.   

[General Eligibility for ALL types of TAs]

1. For Undergraduate students: GPA above 1.4

2. Note: Student cannot serve multiple TA positions at once. 

3. Ineligible applicants: 

- Graduate students on leave of absence(both Korean and international) 

- Undergraduate international students on leave of absence(due to visa issues, (Korean nationals on a leave of absence is okay))

- For Undergraduate students: CLC students(including double major), on military leave of absence, students whose status is 'graduated' or 'completed', students taking part in work-study supported by the Korea Student Aid Foundation, students of Mirae Campus(Wonju), Students of Medicine/Dentistry/Nursing are not eligible for applying.
