Eligibility
1. General transfer
(1) Students in their 2nd year or 4th semester from recognized 4 years undergraduate programs in Korea or overseas. (Including Korea National Open University/ 한국방송통신대학교 and Industrial College/산업대학교). Students in their 2nd year or 4th semester from any institution where credits are equally recognized. Seasonal semesters (Winter/summer) are not recognized as regular semesters and undergraduate programs with 2 semesters per year are served as basis for school system.
Students who have fulfilled the requirements that are listed above (Completion of 2nd semester in 2nd year) and have completed at least 63 credits; Exceptions may apply for students from overseas universities with different school system where students are expected to complete less than 63 credits. In this case students must complete at least ½ of minimum credits for graduation (e.g. For 3 year undergraduate programs in England, students must complete at least 2/3 of minimum credits for graduation) and supporting documents must be submitted.
* For students from overseas universities, only the universities recognized to provide equivalent level of education to 4 years undergraduate program of Korean universities will be accepted. Students must submit document which shows the student's number of credits earned for graduation, number of semesters completed by the student, standard grade calculation, and accreditation.
(2) Students who hold diploma or are expected to receive a diploma from technical/community colleges or those who are believed to have received education of equivalent level.
(3) For students who are completing credits, under the regulation for credits recognition and continuing studies, only those who have completed at least 70 credits from undergraduate programs or have the qualification to graduate from technical/community Colleges are accepted.
(4) Students who has been admitted in year 2012 to the Department of Nursing from one of the 33 technical colleges recognized by the Ministry of Education. They must either be attending or have completed their 2nd year or 4th semester and have completed at least 63 credits. Seasonal semesters (Winter/summer) are not recognized as regular semesters and undergraduate programs with 2 semesters per year are served as basis for school system.
2. Transfer for those with bachelor's degree from another institution
Students who received or are expected to receive bachelor's degree from recognized universities in Korea or overseas. Students who are believed to have received education elsewhere that is equivalent to university education. However, under the ‘Regulation for Credits Recognition,' students must hold bachelor's degree.
* In case of students from overseas universities, only the universities recognized to provide equivalent level of education to 4 years undergraduate programs of Korean universities will be accepted. Students must submit document which shows the student's number of credits earned for graduation, number of semesters completed by the student, standard grade calculation, and accreditation.
