Information on financial support for COVID-19 quarantine and hospital treatment expenses based on the principle of reciprocity

1. Countries Eligible for Full Financial Support    A. (Target) Countries (including the government and the public) who provide full financial support for COVID-19 related treatment expenses for overseas Koreans residing in the respective country    B. (Scope of financial support) Full financial support for treatment expenses       ① Out-of-pocket expenses and necessary expenses not covered by insurance incurred by COVID-19 isolation or hospitalization

2. Countries Eligible for Conditional (partial) Financial support    A. (Target) Countries (including the government and the public) who provide partial financial support for COVID-19 related treatment expenses for overseas Koreans residing in the respective country    B. (Scope of financial support) Financial support only provided for the admission to the isolation facilities (only hospital room fees) (Food expenses, treatment expenses, etc. not supported)

3. Countries Not Eligible for Financial Support    A. (Target) ① Countries (including the government and the public) who do not provide financial support for COVID-10 related medical expenses for foreigners, ② Countries where the relevant information is not available    B. (Scope of financial support) All expenses must be paid by the patient
