Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences Division (HASS)
Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (HASS) Division focuses on interdisciplinary approaches covering various field of interest from regional studies, art, business, social sciences, to humanities. Students not only specialize in their respective fields, but also learn to explore and utilize the broader perspectives and framework that are requisite in today’s workplace, whether it be the public sector, multinational corporations, NGOs, or academia.
Majors
Since the STP major is an interdisciplinary program, faculty members specialize in various disciplines including science, engineering, social sciences, and humanities in order to provide students with diverse but deeply engaging perspectives on complex issues related to science and technology. The majors of the faculty are as follows: biochemistry and biology, material science & engineering, environmental engineering, information & industrial engineering, theology, sociology, and public policy studies.
