Global Career Tour
The Global Career Tour provides students on-site learning opportunities by visiting multinational corporations (MNCs) and meeting with corporate recruiters and professionals from a diverse range of industries. Students can benefit from enhancing their understanding of the global job market and gathering information for career planning in advance. Previous tours include visits to MNCs and international organizations in Hong Kong, London, New York, San Francisco, Singapore, and Tokyo.
Reading about global careers is different from witnessing first-hand what it takes to become successful in the business world. At each company visit, representatives introduce their companies and explain their job recruitment process. Many of the companies also introduce UIC students to young working professionals from various career tracks and allow them to hear about what it is like to work for some of the top companies. UIC’s Global Career Tour offers an ideal way for UIC students to plan their future careers and learn invaluable information about the world beyond their college years.
